The calcined coke production plant, engineered by FL Schmit Denmark, is located on a 15-hectare land in the Arvand Free Zone, Khorramshahr, Khuzestan Province, in two phases with capacities of 80,000 and 160,000 tons of product (CPC). After conducting the study process with the aim of fully launching phase one and constructing phase two, the completion and operation operations began, and after 6 months of relentless efforts, relying on the power of local experts, creating a suitable space for storing raw materials and products, changing the unit’s energy supply source (fuel oil to natural gas) with priority to reduce environmental pollution, as well as establishing a water treatment unit and carrying out numerous industrial activities around divine power, phase one was launched and a completely standard product was produced for use in the aluminum and steel industries.
This unit can create jobs for 90 people directly and 40 people indirectly in the deprived area of Khorramshahr.
